This review is long overdue -- Dr. Kelly and the team at Goodland Pet Hospital were able to give us another 5 years (and counting!) with our dog, Avon.
We came to her in the winter of 2020 when the main emergency vet in SB claimed that our dog had to be put down immediately due to complications from some sort of disease.
The way in which his case was handled by the emergency vet was extremely disappointing and distressing. We had to call and cancel at home euthanasia twice!
Dr. Kelly immediately took action and put him on a course that would see him not only bounce back from the immediate distress he was in, but also lead to his full remission from leukemia -- an outcome that is beyond anything we could've imagined.
5 years later, our pup is still with us and kicking at the age of 15. Going from "We'll have to keep your dog tonight, no you can't see him again, he has to be put down" to another 5 years; where both of our young children have been able to enjoy his presence; and we still get couch snuggles (even though he's moving pretty slowly these days) is priceless.
A deep heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kelly and her team. We recommend her to everyone we know. We appreciate the care you've demonstrated for Avon and for giving us so much more time with our lovely boy.

Dr. Kelly and the entire team at Goodland Pet Hospital are amazing. We looked at a few different vets and couldn’t be happier with our decision to make Goodland our dog’s primary vet. They’re kind, knowledgeable, and take the time to explain everything clearly and follow up thoughtfully. Whether it was a small issue or a major surgery, they handled it all with professionalism and compassion, always keeping us informed and at ease. Truly a wonderful team—we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This team has changed our vet experience entirely. My dog no longer trembles with fear during vet appointments. The staff here have gone out of their way to build trust and kindness with him and have been incredibly generous and warm with me as well.
They also are very transparent with their pricing and work hard to offer flexibility to best accommodate everyone’s financial needs.
I cannot express my gratitude enough and recommend them to everyone I know- especially those with animals that need extra patience and support.

We went in for a palliative care consult for our dog Frankie. We knew his condition was worsening and needed guidance on end of life care and options. Dr. Taylor was amazing. He was compassionate, honest, and clear on the situation, what to expect, and what our options were that would be best for Frankie. He spent time discussing everything, answered all of our questions and was incredibly sensitive to this difficult time.
