I’ve used Republic Lighting Service several times for repairs and lighting installations. Charlie is friendly, knowledgeable, and always leaves the work area clean. Unlike many electricians who only want larger jobs and don’t return calls, Charlie responds quickly to my texts and calls and always makes time for my projects. I highly recommend him and will continue using him.

We needed an electrical panel upgrade in a ahort timeframe, and Charlie was only local electrician to help out quickly and thoughtfully. He took care of all of the permitting process and immediately started work on the panel once approved. Within only a few weeks of initially contacting him, we installed a permitted 200 amp panel to replace our old version, which other contractors said would take months to complete. He also added new arc vault breakers to reduce the fire risk and fully addressed some of the wiring issues that arose afterwards.
Charlie was absolutely amazing to work with -- communicative, hard working, and extremely knowlegeable about his work.

I’m happy to find Charlie, based on outstanding reviews. I had a small job (switch replacements in a compact box) and he was available within 2 days. Communication was excellent throughout and reasonable pricing was transparent. He’s a super nice man, very knowledgeable, and extremely careful setting up the work area. Charlie has many decades of experience both in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. He previously employed 30 electricians in LA. I highly recommend him!

Charlie was fantastic, offering quick and excellent next-day service. He helped with some wiring issues and fixed a busted kitchen light fixture. I'm having him come back out soon for some other long-delayed circuit work. His prices are reasonable and his services excellent. Highly recommended!

Charlie arrives on time, is knowledgeable, thorough and a gentleman. After he hears what needs to be accomplished, he lets you know the plan and gives an estimate of the time for completion. He has worked on several electrical projects for me and I am happy with the results. I highly recommend Charlie for your electrical needs.
