It would be impossible to overstate Dr.Joi Lin’s excellence and professionalism. Today, she replaced two of my old, tired crowns with beautiful porcelain models. Dr. Lin has the capacity to make crowns in office which cuts down on having a follow-up appointment for the final product which is convenient. Her work is outstanding, calm, and pain free. Dr. Lin has patient comfort and tolerance in mind while balancing all the other aspects of this process which must be a challenge. Top notch dentistry along with kindness and compassion. Her dental assistants Jo and Marisela project the same qualities in their supportive care. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Lin and the team she has assembled at Mesa Dental. Highly recommend.

I am embarrassed to say that I have so much anxiety and fear when it comes to going to the dentist so I've been avoiding going....for many, many years. My husband just made the appointment for me and I'm not going to lie, I was upset, I couldn't believe he had the nerve to schedule an appointment for me. He reminded me that dental health is very important to our overall health and that he wanted me to be around for a very long, long time. He's so sweet and wonderful....so....I begrudgingly went to my appointment. I was pleasantly surprised. It was painless, and dare I say....kind of relaxing??? I never thought I'd feel that way about going to the dentist. Dr. Joy Lin and her amazing staff have converted me into a person that doesn't mind going to the dentist. Dr. Lin was so gentle, and her small and nimble fingers work so efficiently and painlessly! If you're like me and you've been avoiding the dentist, definitely give Dr. Lin a call! She's a busy dentist and you may not get in right away, but believe me, the wait is worth it.

This was the BEST dental visit I have ever had. every single person was incredibly welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The office was beautiful and clean. The doctor was so kind and really listened to me and had really helpful suggestions that I have felt have been overlooked by other dentists. My cleaning technician Crystal was so kind and did such a good job. Their scheduling team is wonderful and I am so happy to have found such a great dentist in Santa Barbara!!

I have been going to Mesa Dental for many years. I trust them completely and highly recommend this terrific office. Their expertise, their knowledge and kindness sets them apart. I know my dental needs are in the best of hands. I had moved away and could not find a dentist that I could feel comfortable or fully trust with their recommendations. I still live out of the area, but chose to make the drive to know I have peace of mind. It’s worth it!

I had been going to this office under the previous owner for over 30 years and was very worried about the new owner. It turns out that Dr. Lin is even better than the previous owner.
She cares a lot, takes her time to explain what she’ll be doing next and makes sure that it never hurts. The entire staff is also all women and it’s wonderful to hear them talk and laugh in the background while you’re being worked on.
Highly recommended.
