It would be impossible to overstate Dr.Joi Lin’s excellence and professionalism. Today, she replaced two of my old, tired crowns with beautiful porcelain models. Dr. Lin has the capacity to make crowns in office which cuts down on having a follow-up appointment for the final product which is convenient. Her work is outstanding, calm, and pain free. Dr. Lin has patient comfort and tolerance in mind while balancing all the other aspects of this process which must be a challenge. Top notch dentistry along with kindness and compassion. Her dental assistants Jo and Marisela project the same qualities in their supportive care. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Lin and the team she has assembled at Mesa Dental. Highly recommend.

This was the BEST dental visit I have ever had. every single person was incredibly welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The office was beautiful and clean. The doctor was so kind and really listened to me and had really helpful suggestions that I have felt have been overlooked by other dentists. My cleaning technician Crystal was so kind and did such a good job. Their scheduling team is wonderful and I am so happy to have found such a great dentist in Santa Barbara!!

Referrals are always the way to go. Dr. Lin and her team live up to their reputation! From my initial call, the front desk was diligent in getting us scheduled for a first exam and cleaning, and followed through on the promise of moving us up if anything came available sooner. They were proactive in retrieving x-rays from our previous dentist which is usually so tedious. We were greeted with warmth and smiles all around. My daughter had an exceptional experience with Dr. Lin who really explained flossing in a way I had failed to do! The hygeneist whose name escapes me is absolutely wonderful. My daughter left both appointments feeling confident and full of JOY. ;) HIGHLY recommend.

I have been going to Mesa Dental for many years. I trust them completely and highly recommend this terrific office. Their expertise, their knowledge and kindness sets them apart. I know my dental needs are in the best of hands. I had moved away and could not find a dentist that I could feel comfortable or fully trust with their recommendations. I still live out of the area, but chose to make the drive to know I have peace of mind. It’s worth it!

I had been going to this office under the previous owner for over 30 years and was very worried about the new owner. It turns out that Dr. Lin is even better than the previous owner.
She cares a lot, takes her time to explain what she’ll be doing next and makes sure that it never hurts. The entire staff is also all women and it’s wonderful to hear them talk and laugh in the background while you’re being worked on.
Highly recommended.
