We mixed up the times for our vaccination appt for our cat. Renee was at the front desk and she informed us our appt was for the next day but she went back and checked and was able to squeeze us in same day. AND we went in the dog door and not the cat door and they didnโ€™t correct us OR make us feel bad for reading the door signs. Very polite staff and very accommodating.

It is with a heavy heart to share that this vet Dr. Lucinana Mankel with Animal Medical Clinic prescribed an antibiotic/Enrofloxacin (Baytril) 136mg dosage suitable for a LARGE DOG to my 12.5 lb pet cat. By day 4 he succumbed to acute blindness. How a vet was not alarmed seeing the dosage on the bottle is beyond me. Ophthalmologist verify our cat is completely irreversibly blind due to its toxicity. I've had vets for over 30 years and never had anyone been this gross negligent. Another woman shared on my Nextdoor post that her dog was prescribed antibiotic by this same vet and caused fatal internal bleeding. Fatal. It makes me wonder what kind of vet this woman is. She's only been there since Feb 2023, just a short 3 years. There may be other cases we don't know about. Beware. If you choose them, you should really google info and ask PetMD about the meds/dosage. I did file a complaint with VMB (Veterinary Medical Board). CA law does not punish vet malpractice unless it's proven to be intentional but VMB is a division of the Department of Consumer Affairs and they will investigate and does implement accountability from citing fines, further training, probation, protocol requirements, suspension and revoking licenses. Turns out Mankel has a 2 year equivalent program license and not the assumed 6-8 years of veterinary academia. Pet owners need qualified medical professionals treating our pet family members. We are entrusted our babies to them.

Nice staff, good with animals. Unfortunately, we waited a whole month for the apartment. The dog had red paws, rashes and itching. The doctor examined the dog, looked at the ears, skin, and also checked the perianal glands. He prescribed three medicines for us: for pain, allergies and ear drops. All services cost 208$. We didn't have insurance.

We recently moved into the area and didnโ€™t have a vet. Our five year old kitty has a slight issue with an anal gland and it appeared to be acting up. Of course we noticed this late on a Thursday evening. We called the animal clinic first thing on Friday morning and Connie answered. She could not have been more understanding and worked us in for a quick check and expel just to make sure our kitty, Minnie, didnโ€™t have issues over the weekend. The visit was quick, professional, and very reasonably priced. Another thing worth mentioning is that they have a cat โ€˜on staffโ€™ at the office. Minnie was upset about being in a carrier and going to the vet, but the office kitty came up to the carrier and Minnie calmed right down. Iโ€™ve never seen anything like it-amazing! We have definitely found our new vet! โค๏ธ

While camping locally our fur baby got a foxtail in her ear. They took her in right away. They cleaned out her ear and the cost was way less than expected. They made a bad situation as pleasant as possible. I really liked the doctor and all the staff. Thank you to AMC and Dr Smith.
