I am so thankful for the team at St Francis pet clinic. My dog Aladdin had a surgery and Dr. Pelton, his doctor took such good care of him. He brought so much knowledge, wisdom and confidence in how he took care of laddie. He offered advice to me at all hours of the day answering all my concerns with such generosity. Every single person working there helped us in some way throughout my dogs long recovery of a month. Julia, Melanie, Tessa answered my millions of questions and concerns with so much love for my dog. Matt Laddies tech was so great loving my dog as he went through some difficult surgeries and recovery needs. The other doctors and techs were also so great. I just wanted to share with the world, what a great team they are and how much of a difference they are making. They work so hard and for so many hours. They fight for the innocent animals to have a better life and to be safe through their injuries and sickness. Thank you all for making this hard time of Laddies healing so much better. You guys do make a difference and are amazing

I feel completely betrayed by this entire clinic & all of its staff - some of who I considered friends. For over 10 years I made the photo cards that they purchased as their "sympathy" cards when pets of their clients passed away. This was something I was very honored & proud to do for them. I had also been a client of theirs for many years until I moved out of the area. But I continued to believe that we had a positive & equally respectful business understanding with regards to them purchasing my cards. On average they would buy 100 cards 3-4 times every year (again - for over 10 years), which greatly helped with my own pet expenses. It may not seem like much, but to me, being unemployed, this amount was a great deal. Then last year, they stopped requesting my cards. I would call & leave messages & Melanie always told me that they still had some of my cards & would reach out when they were running low. I believed them & trusted them as I had no reason not to. But time continued to go by & I continued to call & was always told the same thing. Finally, after many months, I basically asked if there was something I had done wrong because it was well past the time when they would have run out. I received back a message from Dr. Harmon letting me know that they were no longer interested in my cards because they wanted something "new". This I can understand. What I cannot understand is why they lied to me for months, letting me believe they still wanted my cards, then letting me feel like I had done something to make them upset at me. I get "business". What I don't get is why they didn't have enough respect & consideration to let me know months earlier. If they were tired of the same cards that I was making for them, they very easily could have asked me to take new photographs, etc. I was giving them many of a specific sunset because Dr. Harmon had asked for them with every order. Melanie made sure to give me those card requests each time an order was placed. I can live with the loss of the income (even though it has drastically changed my budget), but having to live with the betrayal of people I considered friends is a whole other thing. In my eyes, the way that they treated me was cruel, insensitive & severely lacked the professional consideration everyone deserves - even a simple card maker like me. So, I have to ask: if they can stab a friend in the back, what will they do to others? Why couldn't they have just taken a moment to give me a chance to give them new cards or at least have been honest with me as soon as they decided they were dumping me? I would not take my pets back there for any reason now that I know how disrespectful & unprofessional they are. Sour grapes? Absolutely - they hurt me a lot! But it is also the truth. And what the truth says about them is not positive at all. I hope they don't treat their new cardmaker as poorly as they treated me.

The best in Santa Barbara! Love Dr. Harman and Dr. Morgan. Been going to St Francis Clinic since late 80's Dr. Ron Faoro was a good friend of our family, we miss him, but his legacy, and love for animals lives on through the wonderful staff there. They are professional, yet compassionate. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

Dr Harmon is wonderful! She truly cares about animals. She's been our vet for a decade with various pets. Now my Belgian malinois, Karma, sees her. Dr Harmon is caring, gentle, kind. She exhibited patience and understanding that I haven't had before from other vets.
